The YTL Construction Graduate Training Programme
The Graduate Training Programme (GTP) is a 24-month comprehensive training programme specially designed for the professional development of young graduates in construction and related industries.
Talented, dynamic and committed graduates who show strong promise in the fields of architecture, civil, mechanical and electrical engineering, quantity surveying, draughtsmanship, project management and other related fields are given in-depth exposure to different aspects of the construction business through formal training and job rotations, designed to help them master different skills sets in their specific area of expertise and propel them into key positions within the company. The programme offers a blend of formal study of different practice areas, combined with hands-on practical application and experience at our project sites.
The programme allows the YTL Construction senior leadership team to build a strong pipeline of talent, to accelerate the Group’s talent profile, broaden the bench of mid-level leaders with essential skills and eventually build a strong succession plan of talent ready to assume senior leadership positions in the future. The exposure to multi-functional disciplines also provides the graduates with better insights into the business and operations, making them more well-rounded executives in the future.
This two-year development programme is the foundation for long-term career development; graduates who satisfactorily complete the 24-month programme will be offered a permanent position with YTL Construction.
